These flags are made from quality woven polyester and are colourfast and will not run when wet. The material has been approved by the British Admiralty. Sewn Woven Polyester
Material is cut to correct size and shape, then sewn together to form the fields. Designs are marked out or digitally printed and appliquéd to the field showing correctly from the front and mirror fashion from the back (standard flagmaking practice).
Dyeprinted Woven Polyester
The design of the flag is dyeprinted into the base white material to show correctly from the front and mirror fashion from the back. This method is used for the more popular designs and therefore economic on quantity production.
Knitted Digital
The design of the flag is digitally printed on knitted polyester (slightly shiny) to show correctly from the front and mirror fashion from the back. Digital printing is ideal for small order prints as the set-up costs are far lower than screen making as required in dyeprinting.
