Magna Carta Flags

Tynewater Primary School, Midlothian

Our flag was inspired by the green spaces and rural landscapes which are found in Midlothian. We chose the colours blue, green and white to represent the green land, the blue skies and the fluffy white clouds. We put an Oak leaf in the centre to represent the woodlands found close to our Primary School.

St. Blane’s Primary School, Lanarkshire

As part of our work with the UK Parliament to create the fantastic Parliament Square display for the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, we are showcasing each of the flags created by school children from throughout the country. This flag design comes from St. Blane’s Primary School in Lanarkshire.
