“Green Section represents our county of Lincolnshire and Scunthorpe as an Industrial Garden Town. Yellow section represents the agriculture which is an important part of our rural community’s heritage. Reverse semi circles represent the diversity within Scunthorpe County. Red line represents the molten iron of the steel industry and its journey from small beginnings to where we are today. Red circle represents one diverse community working together.
The 12 members of our Academy council were responsible for designing the flag. They worked with their own class to generate initial ideas and then worked as a team to produce the finished flag.”
