Flagmakers were very pleased to supply some crisp new flags for Dior’s new flagship store in London. The flags fly proudly outside the London House of Dior, at Dior’s new address 160-162 New Bond Street.
New Bond Street is the perfect location for this striking flagship store, as it is one of the most famous streets in Mayfair. The new store is just one week old and is already attracting plenty of VIP attention. The VIP cocktail evening saw names such as: Lady Kitty Spencer, Lucie de la Falaise, Marc Quinn, Oliver Cheshire, Pixie Lott and Neelam Gill visit the boutique store.
The flags themselves are a digitally printed flags reading correct on both sides. They are a usual size at 1220mm x 3380mm, the flag is finished for flying on an angled flagpole with an eyelet in the bottom corner. The eyelet is used to add a staywire to the flag to ensure it flies well in low wind conditions. The bold and well known black logo sits on a light grey field, which is almost white. The striking colours offering a really bold finish – however, they will need washing very regularly due to the light field and the built up inner city area at which the flags fly.
The boutique store looks incredible inside, in some parts more like an art gallery than a shop! Not an item out of place and an immaculate white colour scheme throughout. Flagmakers send best wishes to Dior on this new London venture… although we doubt they need it! The store already seems to be a success and has turned many head in the fashion world.
